The aim is to create tools that automate selected logistics operations, simplify parcel management and support users in their day-to-day work. One of the first outcomes of this strategy is AL – AI Shipping Assistant, an AI agent integrated with the Apaczka platform. Although interest in artificial intelligence among companies remains strong, many businesses are still at the stage of individual experiments and selective implementations. Alsendo’s AI strategy is based on the systematic rollout of further AI-powered solutions across its products and services. Less clicking, more action One of the first outcomes of Alsendo Group’s AI strategy is AL – AI Shipping Assistant, created for users of the Apaczka platform. The solution has been designed as an AI agent for shipping operations. It understands natural language, uses APIs and leverages the platform’s capabilities to perform actions related to parcel handling. Its role is to support users in logistics operations and reduce the number of steps required to complete key tasks in the system. In practice, this means that users can manage parcels in a more direct way, communicating in the language they use every day. AL enables users to create shipments, check shipment status, cancel orders, retrieve shipment details, compare carriers and obtain courier service quotes. The agent also helps users search for parcel lockers and other PUDO collection and drop-off points, download shipping documents and quickly access answers from the Apaczka Help Centre. Some actions, including those with financial or operational consequences, require user confirmation. “The market is entering a stage in which the mere presence of AI in a product no longer constitutes a competitive advantage. What becomes crucial is how effectively AI is embedded in business processes, user context and specific actions. At Alsendo, we see AI as one of the key directions for the development of logistics.
